Autonomous. Agile. Accountable.
AIAI operates on a unique "Federated Autonomy" model.
We are established as an autonomous institute working in academic partnership with leading global institutions.
The Autonomous Partnership Model
Why this structure matters:
In the age of AI, a curriculum approved by a 2-year senate process is obsolete before it is taught. AIAI solves this through structural autonomy.
-
Degree Granting Authority:
Our B.Tech and MSc degrees are awarded in academic partnership with leading global institutions, ensuring global accreditation. -
Operational Sovereignty:
AIAI retains its own Governing Board. This allows us to update our syllabus weekly without bureaucratic drag. -
The Symbiosis:
Our academic partners provide the Liberal Arts foundation, while AIAI serves as the dedicated center of excellence for advanced technology.
The Governing Council
The Governing Council is a mix of Technocrats, Diplomats, and Academics, reflecting the interdisciplinary and global nature of AIAI.

MentorThe "Prac-ademic" Faculty Model
We reject the notion that only career academics can teach. Our faculty is a "Three-Body Team":
Core Faculty (30%)
PhDs providing theoretical depth (Math, Statistics, Ethics).
Masters in Residence (40%)
Senior Engineers from Google/NVIDIA who run the "Do-Labs."
Visiting Fellows (30%)
Global experts zooming in for intensive 2-week sprints.
Quality Assurance Architecture
-
The Industry Audit:
External engineers from partner firms audit student code. Their evaluation counts for 40% of the grade. -
The Deployment Test:
Success is measured by operational metrics (e.g., flight success rate), not a written paper. Real-world failure constitutes academic failure.
